Ahasic is so happy that this show is happening and that his dream is coming true. He said that trying to get into this “Jeopardy!” contest took up half of his life.

Jeopardy Champ Eric Ahasic: How Much Money Has He Won?
It’s easy to use the word “champ” in a sentence. But recently, when Eric Ahasic’s team won six games in a row, it was the sound of his dream coming true on the “Jeopardy!” set.
College of Liberal Arts & Sciences says that Ahasic, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, Minnesota, qualified for the game show’s Tournament of Champions in November, after his winning streak ended in mid-June.
Before he lost in his seventh game on June 14, which was shown on TV, he had made more than $160,000. Ahasic’s winning streak got off to a bad start when he played a rideshare driver from Philadelphia named Ryan Long. Long had won 16 straight games.
During the game, the players were asked which of the Argonauts heroes from Greek mythology came from the same family of Spartans. Ahasic remembered reading a puzzle-like entry about the Gemini twins Castor and Pollux.
One sentence says that they were on this boat with Jason and the Argonauts, and that’s all there is to it. He told the College of LAS, “I don’t know why, but that just stuck in my head.”
He did what was asked of him, and he was right. The host of “The Big Bang Theory,” Mayim Bialik, said that Ahasic “couldn’t be caught” after he won the first game and five more after that.
How Much Cash Did He Win?
Eric Ahasic got the nickname “giant killer” when he beat Ryan Long on “Jeopardy!” after Long had won 16 games. Ahasic is currently unbeaten in six games and has been called the next “potential super champion” of the competition.
MPR News says that Minnesota meteorologist Ahasic has been trying to get on “Jeopardy!” for 16 years, ever since he was a senior in high school.
When he found out he would be playing against Long, who had won 16 games, he was worried. But as soon as the game started, those nerves went away.
