On December 9th, 1991, Rakim Hasheem Allen was born in the Germantown district of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Allen’s mother was mostly responsible for his upbringing because his father was killed when Allen was just three years old. During his teenage years, he spent most of his time in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. He was raised on the music of R&B group Jodeci as well as the rap artist Tupac. Allen was placed in a program for juveniles after he committed a series of robberies and got into fights at school when he was 13 years old.
