He opted to cast his brother-in-law and actor Srimurali in Aa Hudugi Neene, a screenplay he had written at the time, after completing the course.

The film’s production began on January 29, 2021. Mythri Movie Makers and N.T.R. Arts have announced a film featuring Neel and N. T. Rama Rao Jr. for his 31st feature in May 2021.
