The president of the National Football League’s Las Vegas Raiders is now American attorney and executive Sandra Douglass Morgan (NFL).

Before transitioning to litigation for The Mirage from 2005 to 2008, Sandra started her legal career as a defense attorney. She worked as AT&T Services’ director of external affairs from 2016 until 2019.

After being appointed by Governor Steve Sisolak in 2019, she later joined the Nevada Gaming Commission, Nevada State Athletic Commission, and ultimately the Nevada Gaming Control Board, which she headed.

During the COVID-19 epidemic, the attorney was in responsible of closing and reopening casinos. He also recommended improvements, such as the idea to force gambling companies to have explicit policies against treating employees unfairly based on things like race, color, and national origin. During this time, she took part in the State COVID-19 task force.

During her time in office, she was responsible for the closing and reopening of casinos in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the introduction of various reforms, such as the proposal to require gaming companies to establish written policies against harassment and discrimination towards their own employees based on factors such as sex, race, color, gender identity, and national origin; she was also the driving force behind the reforms. In addition, she was a member of the State COVID-19 task team during this time period.

After abruptly departing the control board, she joined the boards of Caesars Entertainment, Fidelity Investments, Allegiant Airlines, and Cerberus Cyber Sentinel. In addition, she served as a board member for Cerberus Cyber Sentinel. In November of 2021, Morgan started working as a counsel for the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP while also operating her own consulting business, Douglass Morgan LLC. Morgan was also given the position of vice chair of Las Vegas’s host committee for Super Bowl LVIII in December 2021. This event is slated to take place in February 2024.

Morgan was named the next president of the Las Vegas Raiders on July 7, 2022, after the team made the announcement. After being hired, Morgan became the first black woman to ever hold the position of team president in the National Football League. In the history of the National Football League, she is also the third woman and the third African-American to be elected president of an NFL team.

Personal life

Morgan is married to Don Morgan, who played safety for the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals in the NFL. Dylan and Dana are the couple’s two children; they were both born together.
