2019

On November 16, 2019, at UFC Fight Night: Bachowicz vs. Jacaré, Holland was scheduled to compete against promotional newcomer Antônio Arroyo. Promotion executives, however, decided to substitute a fight between Brendan Allen and Holland for the original one on October 18, 2019, at UFC on ESPN 6. This decision was made in late September. In round two, he was submitted and lost the bout.

2020

At UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Edwards on March 21, 2020, Holland was slated to go up against Jack Marshman. On April 9, however, UFC President Dana White made the announcement that this event had been postponed. Instead, on May 16, 2020 at Overeem vs. Harris on UFC on ESPN, Holland fought Anthony Hernandez. He prevailed with a technical knockout in the opening frame.

On May 30, 2020, Holland was supposed to take on Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns. Holland, however, was forced to withdraw from his fight with Rodriguez on May 26 due to an injury, and Gabriel Green, a promotional rookie, took Holland’s place.

At UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan on August 1, 2020, Holland was scheduled to take against Trevin Giles. Consequently, the fight was called off when Trevin Giles passed out immediately before walking out.

On August 8, 2020, Joaquin Buckley, a promotional rookie, was Holland’s opponent at UFC Fight Night 174. In the third round, he achieved a technical knockout victory. With this victory, he was given the Performance of the Night prize.

2021

On March 20, 2021, Holland and Derek Brunson squared up on UFC on ESPN 21. He was defeated by a score of unanimous decisions.

At UFC on ABC 2, Holland took on Marvin Vettori on April 10, 2021, who was filling in for an injured Darren Till. Holland tied the record for the shortest time between two main events with his second main event in three weeks. Even though Holland occasionally damaged Vettori with punches, the majority of the fight was spent on the ground, and Holland ultimately lost by unanimous decision. At UFC Fight Night 193 on October 2, 2021, Holland squared up against Kyle Daukaus. A head collision early in the fight caused Holland to experience a temporary loss of consciousness. Even though he persisted in the fight, Holland was soon pinned with a rear-naked choke. Referee Dan Miragliotta watched the video again after reviewing it and determined that the head collision was the cause of the chain of events that led to Daukaus’ victory. After the unintentional head collision, the fight was therefore ruled a no contest.

At UFC Fight Night 197, a rematch with Daukaus was slated for November 13, 2021. Holland, though, pulled out of the fight because of an injury.

2022

For the first time since October 2017, Holland will compete in the Welterweight category when he takes on Alex Oliveira on March 5 at UFC 272. In the second round, he achieved a technical knockout victory. With this victory, he was given the Performance of the Night prize.

On June 18, 2022, Holland and Tim Means squared up on UFC on ESPN 37. In round two, he submitted via D’Arce choke and prevailed. He now has five Performance of the Night awards with this triumph.

At UFC 279, Daniel Rodriguez and Holland were slated to square off on September 10, 2022. Khamzat Chimaev is now competing against Holland at a catchweight match, nevertheless, as a result of missing weight.
