Seungri’s arrest

Seungri’s arrest has cast a dark cloud over K-pop’s reputation. While the band is considered one of the most popular groups in the world, it has been plagued by drug-related scandals. The most recent case involves Big Bang, whose leader G-Dragon has admitted to smoking marijuana and giving a fan a joint. Other members of the group, including T.O.P, were caught with dozens of pills of amphetamines in 2010. Though neither of these cases resulted in criminal charges, both YG and K-Pop artists have received harsh criticism from the public.

Big Bang’s Seungri, real name Lee Seung-hyun, is the youngest member of the group. Her arrest has caused shockwaves in South Korea’s music industry, and she was forced to retire from the group shortly after her arrest. She is currently managed by YG Entertainment, which also represents Psy and iKon.

Ju’s sentence

Cha Ju, the former idol of the K-Pop boy band Wanna One, has been found guilty of violating the Narcotics Control Act. He was arrested after a neighbor and security guard reported him to have been making loud noises in his apartment. The singer was caught by the police and was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was found to have smoked the drug four times in 2016 and confessed to it. The judge also ordered him to pay a fine of 360,000 won. His release from prison will be in two years.

According to the prosecutors, Jung, 24, has no previous criminal record. He is currently taking online courses and has promised never to use marijuana again. He served six months in jail for the drug offense and has promised not to do it again. Although he was found guilty of marijuana possession, he has pledged not to use it again. The charges filed against him include the purchase of 133 million won worth of marijuana on 161 occasions between 2016 and 2019. He purchased the drugs using cryptocurrency, making his purchases illegal.

G-Dragon’s conviction

If you’re a K-Pop fan, you’ve probably heard about the latest K-pop cannabis scandal involving G-Dragon. The K-pop superstar has been convicted of marijuana possession and is now serving a suspended prison term. The alleged offense took place on a trip to Japan in 2011 and G-Dragon has admitted that he used marijuana while drunk. While marijuana use is illegal in Korea, heavy drinking is perfectly acceptable in some situations. So, what does the conviction mean for G-Dragon?

The conviction comes after a trial, and the rapper has pleaded guilty. The judge has given him a 10-month suspended prison sentence and ordered him to pay compensation. He is now working for a public service organization in Seoul, and is due to be released in June.

B.I’s conviction

The most recent K-Pop cannabis scandal has convicted a top star, B.I. According to reports, the rapper pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and LSD. He received a three-year suspended sentence, was ordered to perform 80 hours of community service, undergo 40 hours of drug lectures, and pay a fine of 1.5 million won. Fans of B.I have been disappointed by the singer’s arrest and conviction. However, they still stand by their idol and hope that he will be free of this scandal.

The rapper and singer allegedly tried to purchase marijuana and LSD in 2016. His contract was canceled and he was forced to leave the group. The agency he was signed with, YG Entertainment, also fired him. Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of the agency that managed iKON, stepped down as the company’s CEO after the scandal broke.

Hyuna’s relationship with E’Dawn

The recent controversy over Hyuna and E’Dawn’s relationship fits a pattern that’s played out many times before in the K-Pop industry. Hyuna’s fans in Korea defended her relationship, and fans outside of Korea also defended her. But now the couple’s future is in doubt, and fans aren’t sure how it will turn out.

In August, Hyuna announced her relationship with E’Dawn, a fellow trainee in Cube Entertainment. Their relationship was reportedly fueled by their love of cannabis and marijuana culture. The two met in May 2016, and started dating shortly afterward.

While it’s normal for idols to engage in romantic relationships, they are also subject to the scrutiny of their management. They must be careful not to violate their contracts and risk being sued by their management if they do. Furthermore, it’s unfair to make the idols’ romantic life a scapegoat to make their careers look bad.

Summary From Billie Eilish to G-Dragon. Gossips follow all celebrities everywhere, even when they are about to let their hair down. In this article, we’ve viewed the five most heard scandals connected with cannabis in the K-Pop industry.
