Trixie Mattel’s Ethnicity And Religion

Trixie Mattel is an Ojibwe, according to his Wikipedia. The singer was born in America and currently resides in Wisconsin.

Her last name arose from her love of Mattel Barbie dolls and children’s toys. Before deciding on “Trixie Mattel” as his drag moniker, he thought about Cupcake.

Trixie doesn’t seem to practice any religion and is likely an agnostic. Contrarily, Mattel grew up in a Catholic household.

Does Trixie Mattel Have A Husband Or Partner?

Fans are intrigued about Trixie Mattel’s marriage despite the fact that she has been dating David Silver since 2016.

David Silver and Mattel have been dating since 2016. Fans were able to go inside the private lives of Mattel in their Netflix documentary.

Silver is also the entertainer’s devoted and encouraging boyfriend. He isn’t, however, the standard stage boyfriend. For more than 15 years, Silver has worked on well-known Hollywood productions such The Break-Up, starring Jennifer Aniston, and Batman Begins.

Despite keeping their connection private, Mattel still makes reference to Silver in public. Even her next “Grown Up” tour was credited to him.

David was the ideal person to simply follow you around and collect all of this information because he attended school with the talented filmmaker Nick, according to Mattel. Off-stage, Mattel is fiercely protective of her privacy, which is one of the reasons why she initially thought twice about making the documentary.

Trixie eventually decided to participate in the documentary and impressed everyone.

Trixie Mattel Didn’t Have A Supportive Parents

Trixie Mattel didn’t have very supportive parents. Trixie and her brother were reared by their mother and stepfather. When Mattel acted femininely, her homophobic stepfather would call her Trixie.

Mattel ultimately settled on Trixie for her drag name. In several cases, the abuse devolved into physical violence. Rarely being involved, her mother did not raise an issue when social services came to remove Trixie.

Trixie doesn’t like going back to those memories since they are awful. Trixie does not feel forced to hate Mattel’s mother despite the fact that she bears part responsibility for her harsh upbringing. Her brother, on the other hand, hated their mother for a very long time before he could forgive her.

Trixie was fortunate because the adults in her household supported and encouraged her as she grew up. Mattel’s grandfather, who taught her how to play the guitar, sparked her interest in music.

A friend gave Trixie’s brother a guitar, but after just one week of use, he stopped playing. When Trixie was 13 years old, her grandfather taught her how to play.
